THE BIRTH OF DGMAG...
I'll never forget the first DGmagazine as made in 2004.
It seems like only yesterday, that I sat down and drew out a plan. I always wanted a cat you see, and I decided to create one. I named her Ginger.
I was in to comics such as Cartoon network and Tom and Jerry. On odd occasions I even picked up the Dandy. All the comics made me think, "I'll make my own". So I used this Ginger cat and did a comic about me and her and all the adventures we lived daily with other made up characters.
As the years progressed, I soon started to make them more like the Tom and Jerry magazines in their layout style. later in 2007 they got more Dandy themed and were titled to The DG Xtreme like The Dandy's revamp back then, The Dandy Xtreme.
Since 2008, I have been making them Beano themed. Into which I started to get the Beano, and as the Beano has changed, so has DGMAG. The DGmag has been strongly influenced from this great British comic!
